July Chiropractic Office Update

I hope you are doing well and I hope you and your family are staying healthy!

I wanted to give you a couple of short office updates.

#1 As many people know, my wife is due on August 12th, which is getting very close. People often ask if I will be taking time off, or if I will take a leave. I do not plan on taking any time off and I plan to have the office open on mostly normal hours, if everything goes well. I want to ensure that everyone is taken care of and does not have a lapse in their treatment. If you are scheduled the day that my wife goes into labor, I will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment.

#2 Congrats to our patient that won the Amazon Kindle Fire tablet. If you did not win this time, stay tuned for the next giveaway. If you have already written a Google and/or Facebook review then you will already be entered to win. If you have not, don’t hesitate to ask how you can win in the future. Your kind reviews and referrals have meant so much to me. Thank you!

#3 Working at home seems that it will be the new normal for many people. Remember that posture while working at home is very important. One simple trick is to spend part of your work day sitting on an exercise ball. This will force you to engage your core muscles and sit up more straight. It is also important to take short breaks while working. While at the office, you might go to the bathroom, walk to a meeting, or go pickup something from the printer. From talking to patients, I am finding that people tend to sit down to work in the morning and are not needing to move much during their work day while at home, so they don’t. This has resulted in more cases of increased back and neck tension lately. Keep moving so you can feel better and heal better.

As always, thank you so much for trusting me with your health!
