🚧 Olive Chapel Road Update: The Never-Ending Story 🚧

Good news, everyone! The North Carolina Department of Transportation has announced that the Olive Chapel Road closure in Apex, NC — which began way back in August — is set to last until the end of January. That’s right, only three more months of scenic detours, confusing GPS reroutes, and practicing your deep-breathing exercises every time you hit ā€œcalculate new routeā€, and get stuck in traffic. šŸ§˜ā€ā™‚ļø

Getting tired of the road closure? We are too!

For those that are new here, a heroic culvert gave its life to Beaver Creek’s ā€œmightyā€ waters, and now the NCDOT is embarking on an epic questĀ to replace it - since no-one could have seen this happening and nothing could have been done to prevent it... Contracts are being awarded, rights-of-way are being acquired, utilities are relocating — it’s basically the ā€œAvengers: Endgameā€ of road repair.

Meanwhile, we at Performance Family ChiropracticĀ have been seeing more stiff necks, tight shoulders, and road-rage-related tension than ever before. Coincidence? We think not. šŸ’€

Officials remind the public to stay away from the collapsed culvert and unstable pavement — but honestly, at this point, we’re all a little unstable. Unstable is the new norm! Come get adjusted and make sure your spine is stable.

Hang in there, Olive Chapel travelers. January’s just around the corner… give or take a few ā€œunexpected delays.ā€
