Good news, everyone! The North Carolina Department of Transportation has announced that the Olive Chapel Road closure in Apex, NC ā which began way back in AugustĀ ā is set to last until the end of January. Thatās right, only three more months of scenic detours, confusing GPS reroutes, and practicing your deep-breathing exercises every time you hit ācalculate new routeā, and get stuck in traffic. š§āāļø
Getting tired of the road closure? We are too!
For those that are new here, a heroic culvert gave its life to Beaver Creekās āmightyā waters, and now the NCDOT is embarking on an epic questĀ to replace it - since no-one could have seen this happening and nothing could have been done to prevent it... Contracts are being awarded, rights-of-way are being acquired, utilities are relocating ā itās basically the āAvengers: Endgameā of road repair.
Meanwhile, we at Performance Family ChiropracticĀ have been seeing more stiff necks, tight shoulders, and road-rage-related tension than ever before. Coincidence? We think not. š
Officials remind the public to stay away from the collapsed culvert and unstable pavement ā but honestly, at this point, weāre all a little unstable. Unstable is the new norm! Come get adjusted and make sure your spine is stable.
Hang in there, Olive Chapel travelers. Januaryās just around the corner⦠give or take a few āunexpected delays.ā
